Job summary
Motion Recruitment is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer focused on performance and load testing. The role supports consolidation of dining and restaurant tech platforms, with a hybrid work model preferred in New York City and consideration for Chicago-based candidates.
You will work with GCP, Kubernetes, and modern observability and automation tools. The engineer will design environments, tooling, test data, and infrastructure to make performance testing effective, joining a global tech
Qualifications
- Must have hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
- Advanced on deploying, operating, and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with performance, scalability, and load testing for distributed applications.
- Ability to build and configure performance testing environments and test data.
- Strong observability knowledge across applications and infra.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog for monitoring.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into automated workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable performance-testing environments.
- Execute, automate, and trigger performance/load tests.
- Monitor results and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, and quality teams.
