Job summary

Accenture is a premier Google Cloud partner delivering data modernization, analytics, and AI solutions on GCP. You will support architecture design, build data pipelines, and help deploy dashboards with Looker in a client-driven setting.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and architects, learn advanced GCP patterns, and contribute to internal accelerators while staying current with Gemini updates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics, ML Engineering or related fields.
• 2+ years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• 2+ years experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• 2+ years experience with Python or AI or GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Technical Delivery: Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and integrations using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in BigQuery.
• Implement data ingestion patterns for batch and streaming sources.
• Support dashboards and analytics products using Looker or Looker Studio.
• Support Agentic AI & ML Solution Development: Develop ML models and AI solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini models, embeddings, and APIs.
• Implement ML pipelines and MLOps processes (monitoring, retraining, deployment).
• Support prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG experimentation.
• Contribute to model testing, validation, and documentation.
• Requirements Gathering & Client Collaboration: Participate in workshops to understand data needs and technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks and implementation plans.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and insights to leads and clients.
• Data Governance, Quality & Security Support: Metadata management, data quality checks, and lineage tracking using Dataplex, IAM.
• Follow security, identity, and compliance best practices.
• Support data validation, testing, and monitoring.
• Continuous Learning & Team Support: Learn/apply GCP Data & AI best practices; collaborate with senior engineers and architects.
• Contribute to accelerators, docs, and reusable components.
• Stay current with GCP releases and Gemini updates.
