Job summary

Accenture is seeking a GCP Data Specialist in California to deliver data modernization, analytics, and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will design data pipelines, models, and dashboards, and contribute to ML projects using Vertex AI and Gemini models.

You will collaborate with senior architects, support client workshops, and ensure data governance and security best practices while staying current with GCP updates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, ML Engineering, or related fields.
• 2+ years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• 2+ years experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• 2+ years experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data modernization, analytics, and AI solutions on GCP under guidance from senior team members.
• Build data pipelines and data models using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Support dashboards and analytics products using Looker or Looker Studio.
• Assist in developing ML models and AI solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini models, embeddings, and Model APIs.
• Participate in client workshops to understand data needs and translate requirements into technical tasks.
