Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks a GCP Platform Sr. Staff Engineer to lead a large cloud migration to Google Cloud Platform from AWS/Databricks. The role demands enterprise data platform design, governance, and automated self-service tooling for Data Engineers, Analysts, and Data Scientists.

Hybrid work in Central Austin with 2 days in office and 3 remote, on a W2 contract-to-hire arrangement after 6 months. Strong leadership and MLOps experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering/architecture experience with senior staff exposure.
• Hands-on GCP expertise including BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow, and GCS.
• Proven success migrating data platforms and leading large projects.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute enterprise data platform migration from AWS/Databricks to GCP.
• Design standardized ingestion, transformation, and data-serving layers with governance.
• Lead MLOps initiatives: feature stores, CI/CD for models, monitoring infrastructure.
• Mentor senior engineers and align Data Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics.
