Job summary

Tekaccel Inc. is seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud data infrastructure.

You will develop batch and streaming pipelines, manage the data warehouse with BigQuery, and ensure data quality, security, and scalability while collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and DevOps teams. The role emphasizes hands-on GCP services, dbt data transformations, and orchestration with Airflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5+ years of dedicated Data Engineering experience on Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced SQL writing, tuning, and debugging skills.
• Proficiency in Python (highly preferred) or Java/Scala for data manipulation.
• Hands-on GCP experience across BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time streaming data pipelines on GCP.
• Manage data warehouse architecture using BigQuery for performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop DAGs and workflows with Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• Transform raw data into structured datasets using dbt and dimensional modeling.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement proactive alerts via Cloud Monitoring.
• Enforce governance, IAM access controls, and data security across pipelines and storage.
