Job summary

Accenture is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer/ML Specialist in the United States to deliver end-to-end data and AI solutions on Google Cloud. You will build data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc, optimize queries, and support Looker-based analytics products for clients in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, ML engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical delivery for data and AI projects.
• Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in BigQuery.
• Implement data ingestion patterns for batch and streaming sources.
• Support dashboards and analytics products using Looker/Looker Studio.
• Develop ML models and AI solutions using Vertex AI and Gemini models; establish MLOps processes.
• Support prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG experimentation.
• Collaborate in workshops to translate requirements into technical tasks.
• Ensure data governance, quality, security, and metadata management.
