Job summary

Accenture is seeking a GCP Data Specialist to help deliver data modernization, analytics, and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will support architecture design, build data pipelines, models, and dashboards under guidance from senior team members.

Role involves collaborating with clients, contributing to end-to-end delivery, and applying best practices in data governance and security. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, ML Engineering, or related fields.
• 2+ years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• 2+ years experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• 2+ years experience with Python or AI or GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Technical Delivery: Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in BigQuery.
• Implement data ingestion patterns for batch and streaming data sources.
• Support development of dashboards and analytics products using Looker or Looker Studio.
