Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC in New York, NY is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation to manage cloud infrastructure and IaC solutions.

You will develop and optimize deployment pipelines, support monitoring and observability, and collaborate across development, testing, and production environments while adhering to IaC standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cloud infrastructure in GCP.
• Proficiency with Terraform IaC.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment workflows.
• Develop and maintain Terraform code for GCP infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage GCP resources, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, IAM, and Secret Manager.
• Support and maintain Salesforce and Gearset deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain GitHub integrations with SonarQube for static code analysis and security scanning.
• Manage build artifacts using Google Cloud Artifact Registry.
• Support DataDog monitoring, log forwarding, alerting, and observability.
• Support Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) operations, including workload deployments and namespace management.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
• Migrate manually provisioned GCP resources into Terraform-managed infrastructure.
• Follow infrastructure-as-code standards and established DevOps best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
