Job summary

i-Link Solutions on behalf of the State of New York Department of Financial Services seeks a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer for a 30-month, part-time engagement. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Terraform for GCP, while ensuring security and observability.

Responsibilities include managing GCP resources, GKE operations, and integrating DataDog and SonarQube into CI/CD workflows, with Agile ceremonies guiding sprint delivery.

Qualifications

• 5 years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or systems administration.
• At least 2 years in a public cloud (GCP preferred).
• 3+ years with Terraform in established patterns.
• 3+ years building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build or GitHub Actions.
• 3+ years GitHub workflows including PRs and branch management.
• 2+ years in Agile delivery environments.
• 1 year with DataDog for log analysis/observability.
• 1 year with SonarQube in CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Terraform Associate certification.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting development workflows.
• Author and maintain Terraform code for GCP provisioning following standards.
• Support Salesforce/GearSet deployment pipelines, troubleshoot and document.
• Maintain SonarQube and GitHub integration for static code analysis and security scanning.
• Manage build artifacts using GCP Artifact Registry.
• Support observability with DataDog log forwarding, monitoring, and alerting.
• Support GKE cluster operations including workload deployments and namespace management.
• Manage GCP resources across dev, test, production environments.
• Migrate manually provisioned GCP resources into Terraform.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery.
