Job summary

FedEx is looking for a Cloud Engineering Architect to design modern, cloud-enabled architecture on Google Cloud Platform. You will lead transformation toward cloud-native, event-driven solutions and guide cross-ART teams in a scaled agile environment.

You will work in a hybrid setup with multiple U.S. locations and partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient RMIC architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent.
• Five years of IT or engineering experience; advanced degree may offset.
• Experience designing scalable, secure cloud architectures in GCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cloud architecture for RMIC systems.
• Develop cloud modernization roadmaps aligned with strategy.
• Define cloud patterns, standards, and reference architectures.
• Drive cloud-native, event-driven solutions and governance.
• Mentor architects and engineers across initiatives.
