Job summary

idpp seeks an experienced Google Cloud Platform Architect to shape end-to-end GCP architecture for a strategic Autonomous Networks and Digital Energy Management programme. The role focuses on aligning Energy-domain solutions with the broader network architecture, ensuring secure, scalable designs.

Responsibilities include selecting GCP services, defining integrations, and producing architecture documentation for technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a GCP Cloud Architect or Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform including compute, networking, storage, data and integration services.
• Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, data flows and distributed architectures.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions in hybrid or complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end solution architectures on GCP.
• Select appropriate GCP services and architectural patterns.
• Define how solutions integrate with existing enterprise and network platforms.
• Ensure alignment between the Energy domain and Autonomous Networks architecture, standards and roadmap.
• Work closely with engineering teams to translate architecture into implementable solutions.
• Address security, scalability, resilience, performance and operational requirements.
