Job summary

Quantum Integrators in Durham, NC seeks an experienced GCP Architect to design scalable, secure cloud solutions and lead architecture efforts across data and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of IT/cloud architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• GCP Solution Architect certification is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, security, networking, IAM, compute, storage and managed GCP services.
• Strong understanding of data platforms and data engineering concepts.
• Experience with GCP data services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, or equivalents.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with distributed technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and secure Google Cloud Platform architectures.

We are looking for an experienced GCP Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The candidate will work closely with business, data, engineering, and R&D teams to develop cloud and data solutions supporting Life Sciences business and R&D initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong GCP architecture experience, a solid understanding of data engineering platforms, and experience working with Life Sciences data services and solutions, particularly in an R&D environment.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, compliance, and enterprise architecture practices.
• Experience working with large-scale data and analytics environments.
