Job description

Job Description:

Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) has a global footprint. The team conducts reviews for appropriate mitigation and ensures compliance with regional policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations. The team is responsible for business controls related to electronic communication and enterprise programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication Monitoring

  • Serve as an escalation point for review team members.
  • Provide primary review coverage, especially in specialized areas (BEC, APAC, LATAM, GCIB/COO senior management).
  • Back-up reviewer across AMRS, APAC, EMEA, LATAM regions.
  • Develop and execute targeted reviews and enhanced monitoring programs.

Enterprise Programs

  • Manage business controls for Enterprise Programs such as Business Electronic Communication (BEC), Marketing, Advertising, and Customer Complaints.

Governance and Controls

  • Lead and Develop
    • Drive development and oversight of eComm program requirements.
    • Lead strategic goals and deliverables independently.
    • Oversee lexicon development and reporting to senior management.
    • Represent the group in communication and presentations with management and stakeholders.
  • Implement & Improve
    • Update policies, procedures, and processes to meet regulatory and industry standards.
    • Participate in projects, analyze surveillance systems, and recommend enhancements.
    • Monitor industry changes and regulatory developments to mitigate risks.
  • Manage & Maintain
    • Maintain control environment through QA/QC routines.
    • Manage process attributes in the process owner portal.
    • Participate in industry forums and monitor emerging risks and regulations.
    • Represent GCIB BCO in committees and forums.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Ability to operate independently and collaborate with stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership, control focus, and risk awareness.
    • Multi-tasking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in developing executive presentations and working in complex environments.
    • Excellent communication skills across all organization levels.
    • Attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

    Plus

    • Multilingual skills (Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese).
    • Data analytics, Tableau, control process experience, banking surveillance, and knowledge of crypto and marijuana regulations are a plus.

    Hours Per Week: 40

    Pay Transparency: US - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100). Salary range: $79,100 - $152,500. Discretionary incentive eligible. Benefits are provided.
