Position Overview

As our Operations Manager, you will lead a team responsible for merchandise receipt, stocking, and merchandising according to planograms, promotions, and standards. You will foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Store Manager to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Manage staffing, training, and development of operations staff.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and store maintenance.
  • Implement loss prevention, safety, inventory, and cash management protocols.
  • Conduct signage and product merchandising audits.
  • Act as manager in charge when necessary, including opening and closing the store.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years of retail or warehouse experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in loud environments, weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree.
  • Understanding of Guitar Center systems and processes.
