Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA seeks a GMP/GLP-compliant analyst to perform GC/MS analysis on pharmaceutical ingredients and products, review data, and prepare investigations with precision.

You will lead multiple projects, train new analysts, and support process improvements. This is a full-time, first-shift, on-site role with up to 25% travel; relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration.
• Authorization to work in the US indefinitely without sponsorship.
• 1 year of GMP laboratory experience.
• 1 year of GC/MS experience in industry.
• Preferred: Experience operating GC/MS and/or ICP systems.
• Preferred: Experience with extractables and leachables testing.
• Preferred: ISO 10993 and/or ISO 18562 testing.
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP/GLP/ISO 17025 lab.
• Preferred: Method development and validation.
• Preferred: Mass spectrometry for unknowns.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
• Review/prepare standards and samples for analysis and run a variety of equipment independently.
• Troubleshoot and solve instrumental and/or method problems.
• Work efficiently, proactively, and productively.
• Ensure that client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy and adherence to GMP/GLP.
• Evaluate current systems and suggest process improvements.
• Write complete and detailed investigations independently.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and train newer analysts.
