Job Description
GC Foreman

DPR Construction is looking for a GC Foreman with at least 10 years of experience in all aspects of the drywall trade, preferably within DPR’s core markets (life science, health care, higher education, commercial, and advanced technology).

Job Requirements:
  1. Oversee, manage, and mentor craft workers.
  2. Coordinate jobsite logistics.
  3. Maintain relationships with other trades and main project team.
  4. Lead DPR’s Injury Free Environment (IFE) Safety Program.
  5. Monitor production and quality of crews.
  6. Read and understand blueprint drawings and perform layout.
  7. Procurement and tracking of materials to be installed.
  8. Coordinate work scopes.
  9. Assist in the creation of resource-loaded schedules.
  10. Process Timesheets.
  11. Conduct employee coaching and employee evaluations.

Certifications:

  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Certified
  • Ability to use iPad
Physical Requirements:
  • Climbing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, balancing, squatting, and kneeling for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to and not limited to 100lbs.
Working Conditions:
  • Work occurs primarily in an on-site environment and may be indoors or outdoors. May sometimes involve heights, exposure to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust, and fumes.
  • All PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times (safety vest, protective eyewear, hearing protection, gloves, sleeves as needed, hard hat, face shield, & approved footwear).
