Qualifications

• 1–3 years GC estimating experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Estimating software experience preferred.
• High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools.
• Collaborative, proactive builder’s mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform detailed quantity takeoffs and conceptual estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contractual documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive estimates, budgets, and bid proposals.
• Develop scopes of work and coordinate subcontractor bidding and leveling.
• Participate in bid-day activities, including review, analysis, and submission.
• Collaborate with project teams to transition estimates into executable project budgets.
• Review and update job cost and labor reports as projects progress.
• Support value engineering efforts and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, trade partners, and internal teams.
• Uphold and model Granger’s reputation, values, and professionalism in every interaction.
