Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electronics Manager for Starlink gateways to lead a 5–10 person team through design, validation, and production of rugged gateway electronics. You will shape architecture, parts, and test methods to meet demanding space-grade requirements.

You will collaborate across electrical, silicon, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, drive milestones, and mentor engineers while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering/STEM discipline.
• 7+ years of professional hardware design/development or electronics test engineering.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-10 engineers to design, develop, and validate electronics for gateway systems.
• Drive electrical architecture, schematics, PCB design, and verification.
• Define and manage all key project milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate with antenna, software, mechanical, networking, and manufacturing teams.
• Build scalable lab spaces and mentor engineers for high rigor.
• Ensure safety and maintain strong reliability across products.
