Job summary

This role supports GATES testing, develops test scenarios with real-world data, and contributes to training materials and sessions. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related fields with 5 years of software testing experience, or an equivalent combination of degree and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science; OR a Bachelor's in any field plus one of the listed certifications.
• 5 years of experience in developing software test plans and ensuring software meets functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive software test plans that support GATES testing requirements.
• Develop scenarios linked to standard datasets with cargo records to simulate real-world data.
• Perform GATES roles to test system functionality during software testing.
• Ensure software meets functional requirements and conduct regression testing; document issues in Daily Update Report.
• Assist with GATES training kits maintenance and broad range of training support (virtual, computer-based, and in-person).
• Help develop course material and instruct the GATES handheld terminal course (setup, configuration, cargo processing, data transfer).
• Create virtual and computer-based training; complete After-Action Report after events.
• Prepare classroom and audio-visual equipment for training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager.
