Job summary

Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is seeking a Security Officer to uphold safety standards by following SOPs and patrolling the property. You will work both independently and as part of the security team, delivering courteous service at the gate and during resident interactions.

The role requires a valid driving record, prior security or law enforcement experience, and the ability to report incidents and emergencies accurately to supervisors and management. 40 hrs, Thursday - Monday 10pm-6am.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Pass background and drug screening.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
• Satisfactory driving record (operate company vehicle).
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail.
• CCTV and access control experience.
• Ability to work independently and with security team.
• Prior experience in security, military or law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with residents, members, staff, security personnel and management.
• Provide courteous, respectful and pleasant interactions.
• Foot patrols.
• Prepare reports on daily shift activity.
• Accurately relay pertinent information to Supervisor, Director of Security, and the General Manager.
• Handle emergency response in accordance with established procedures.
• Document and report incidents and maintenance matters.
