Job Description
Associa is currently looking for a Gatehouse and Community Attendant to join our team in Sandia Park, NM. As a Gatehouse and Community Attendant, you will generally assist with providing guests with information, directions and ensuring the community center is in order.
This is a part-time position. Gatehouse hours are from (Summer Hours) M-F 7:30-5:00pm, Sat-Sun- 7:30-4:00pm: (Winter Hours)M-F 8-4:00pm Sat- 9:00am-4:00pm, Sun 10:00am-4:00pm. The incumbent may also need to be available to fill in for staff time off.

Our Gatehouse Attendants make a significant impact through the work they do, such as:
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
- Make periodic tours of the community to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
- Greet incoming guests and tenants, providing information regarding the site and surrounding area as requested by visitors.
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence or rules and safety violations.
- Perform fire prevention, safety and maintenance tasks and parking/traffic enforcement.
- Ensure the community center is in order including basic pool maintenance, light janitorial duties such as emptying trash, sweeping, wiping down countertops and stocking/replenishing bathroom supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
$15.97 hourly

- Knowledge of basic computer skills and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Professional customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
- Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.

- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, conduct light cleaning duties including sweeping and emptying trash.
