Job summary

Ganahl Lumber Corona is looking for a Gate Guard to join our team. The Gate Guard protects the client and property from criminal activity or trespassing, using surveillance and secure entry checks.

The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication, sharp observational skills, and prior surveillance experience. Responsibilities include patrolling grounds, reviewing cameras, verifying who may enter, and escorting unauthorized entrants off the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Security guard training certification preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Patrol grounds and buildings; refer suspicious activity to local authorities.
• Respond to alerts of suspicious activity; secure the environment and report to authorities.
