Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring a Gate Inspector to pilot safety and efficiency at our intermodal facility. You will inspect inbound and outbound units, log data with handheld devices, and control access per security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld devices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, lifting).
• Open availability required (all shifts, weekends, and holidays).
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification including criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on inbound and outbound intermodal units.
• Log inspection data using handheld devices and/or computer systems.
• Control facility access for vehicles and personnel per security protocols.
• Coordinate with drivers, team members, and terminal personnel for safe movement of units.
• Support daily yard operations and maintain orderly equipment flow.
• Identify and report damages, hazards, or safety concerns.
