Additional Resources Ltd is seeking an Automated Gate Engineer to join a team delivering gate automation services. The permanent role offers a salary of £40,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You will diagnose faults, attend breakdowns, perform repairs and upgrades, and occasionally service systems, fitting replacement components and safety equipment. Applicants should have at least three years in gate automation, a valid driving licence, and a reliable, proactive approach to work.

Qualifications

• At least three years of gate automation experience.
• Previous industry experience essential.
• A driving licence is required.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on automated gates and entry systems.
• Attend breakdowns and identify faults with equipment.
• Carry out retrofit work and upgrades to existing systems.
• Undertake occasional routine servicing.
• Work on barriers, intercoms and GSM systems.
• Fit replacement parts, safety edges and associated equipment.
