Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Security Officer/Guard to protect client sites and people. Roles are available as full or part time, with duties including monitoring, reporting incidents, and assisting visitors while upholding safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills; no prior security experience is required. A drug screen, background check, and licensing compliance will be completed as part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities at an assigned client site to protect property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and possible climbing stairs or navigating uneven terrain.
• Provides customer service to a client’s employees and customers while maintaining safety and security.

Security Officer/Guard

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
