Prato 850 is looking for friendly, energetic servers to join our team! Located in Commack, NY, Prato 850 is an Italian-inspired gastropub known for wood-fired pizza, craft beer, signature cocktails, and a lively dining atmosphere.

We're seeking team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in exceptional guest service. We offer $11.35 per hour plus tips, flexible scheduling, employee food discounts, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must meet New York State requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and drink offerings.
• Ensure tables and dining areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Process guest payments accurately.
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive dining experience.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
