Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute is seeking to hire a full-time Fellowship-trained Gastrointestinal Medical Oncologist for a clinical-research position to join City of Hope in Duarte. Primary Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity within the Division for Gastrointestinal Oncology in the Department of Medical Oncology. For more information, please visit the Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and innovation, with a strong research background. Responsibilities include participating in clinical or basic science research relevant to GI medical oncology, with a history of submitting and presenting abstracts and publishing manuscripts.

1. Full-time position working within an established team of physicians and nurses in an integrated, multidisciplinary department.
2. Collaborate with 6 full-time faculty members.
3. Enjoy protected research and academic time.
4. Assist in the growth of clinical programs, including colorectal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, neuroendocrine, and gastro-esophageal cancers.
5. Primary clinical focus on gastrointestinal cancer patient care.

Pay & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $300K - $500K (This range is for base compensation for full-time employment and excludes incentives and benefits. Actual salary will be adjusted based on experience, training, hospital/community needs, and other factors.)

Qualifications

• Early to mid-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain an active California medical license.
• ABIM board certification in medical oncology or hematology/oncology, with additional experience in Gastrointestinal Oncology.
