• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• BLS or CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gastroenterology procedures not requiring sedation and inform patients.
• Support nurses and doctors during sedation procedures; monitor vital signs and assist in emergencies.
• Maintain clean and sterile equipment; train others to ensure quality control in GI procedures.
• Assist in the recovery room by monitoring patients and preparing lab specimens as needed.
• Ensure technicians follow standards; provide feedback and train new staff.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurses to document data during patient admission and discharge in the GI Lab.
• Order supplies, obtain supervisor approval, and coordinate with vendors for timely delivery.
• Monitor equipment and generate quality reports; participate in maintenance schedules and installations.
• Track and support ongoing maintenance schedules and equipment installations.

Education

High school diploma or GED

3 years of relevant work experience
