WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV seeks gastroenterologists (multiple openings) to join a well-established practice with a strong reputation for providing excellent general and advanced GI care to a patient base of close to 300,000. You will be part of a cohesive and highly supported team of providers that practice under one roof with the clinic connected to the hospital.
Duties: Successful candidates will diagnose and treat patients with digestive disorders including liver disease, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, cancers and other disorders of the gastrointestinal system in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
