Overview

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We are seeking a Gastroenterologist at our Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center.

We are currently offering a $300,000 forgivable loan as a new hire incentive. MAPMG is physician-led, with competitive salaries not based on individual service volume. Our physicians utilize a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) system, focus on long-term health, prevention, and effective disease management, and support research and education initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient consultative and endoscopy services via an internal referral system in a collegial environment promoting work-life balance
• Offer a mix of virtual and in-person patient visits
• Conduct 30-minute appointments
• Support inpatient coverage at affiliated hospitals
• Work with experienced support staff
• Participate in leadership opportunities within the medical group if desired
• Utilize a physician-friendly EMR system

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Current or ability to obtain licenses in Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia
