Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA seeks a board-certified/board-eligible gastroenterologist to join a busy GI service with a diverse team. Primary location is Allentown with occasional days at Tunnel Rd Schuylkill.

The position requires call and offers 36 patient-facing hours per week as part of a full-time schedule, with opportunities for ongoing education, research and a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation and CME support.

Qualifications

• Must be board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology.
• Current Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and medical history reviews.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as endoscopy and imaging.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for GI conditions.
• Educate patients about conditions, options, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
