Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks a Gastroenterology physician for a full-time day shift position primarily in Allentown, PA with occasional time at the Schuylkill location. The role involves comprehensive GI care across inpatients and outpatients, including endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.

Board eligibility/board certification in Gastroenterology is required, along with a PA medical license or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• A current Pennsylvania Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including endoscopy and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for GI conditions.
• Educate patients about conditions, options, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

This position does require call.
