Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York seeks a full-time Advanced Trained BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join a five-physician, three-APC practice in Cooperstown. Salary ranges $520,000–$600,000 with a sign-on bonus up to $200,000, a robust benefits package, and an academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

You will teach residents and medical students, perform GI procedures with ERCP/EUS preferred, and participate in an EPIC EMR environment

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in gastroenterology.
• Completion of USA gastroenterology fellowship.
• Current New York State medical license or eligibility.
• Active BLS and DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Join an established group of five physicians and three advanced practice clinicians.
• Teach residents and medical students within an academic health system.
• Perform standard GI procedures with ERCP and EUS as preferred skills.
• EMR-EPIC documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Participation in call schedule (no more frequent than 1:4).

Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York, is seeking a full-time Advanced Trained BC/BE Gastroenterologist.

• Salary Range: $520,000 - $600,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 5 physicians and 3 advanced practice clinicians
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Demonstrated proficiency in standard GI procedures and testing
• Advanced skills in ERCP and EUS preferable
• Educational focus – teach and mentor residents and medical students
• Call guaranteed to be no more frequent than 1:4
• Instant Referral Base provided with over 500 Network Clinicians
• Strong interest in clinical G.I. and liver disease

Compensation

• Salary Range: $520,000 - $600,000.
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-On Bonus: up to $200,000
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
