Overview

The Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital (MSSN) in Oceanside, NY seeks a Program Director for its ACGME fully accredited Gastroenterology fellowship training program. The program trains two fellows per year and offers comprehensive clinical training along with research opportunities, including rotations at Mount Sinai South Nassau and Mount Sinai Hospital, covering a broad spectrum of patient care and advanced procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and executing the educational curriculum for the fellowship program
  • Mentoring fellows and evaluating their progress
  • Participating in recruitment and selection of new fellows annually
  • Innovating educational experiences to improve skills across diverse populations
  • Collaborating with the department on clinical and academic initiatives
Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Practiced for at least five years
  • Interest and experience in medical education
  • Previous experience as an assistant or full program director is preferred
  • Eligible for faculty appointment at Icahn School of Medicine
