Job description

Gastroenterology – General GI

Location: Indiana – 45 minutes to Indianapolis

Well-established, 30-year-old practice is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join their expanding group.

They are an independent group of 3 providers, but the practice staff is employed by the hospital. One provider does ERCP; the rest are general.

Offices are located on the hospital campus, and it is a short walk to the endoscopy center. They also have a group of five Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

The Endoscopy Center has 4 procedure rooms (1 Pulmonary and 3 GI) and 15 pre/post rooms.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm

Call Schedule: Shared

Typical day includes about 16 scopes, with 2 hours at the end of each day reserved for inpatient add-on procedures.

They offer esophageal manometry and capsule endoscopy.

Procedures: Colonoscopy, Colonoscopy with EMR, EGD, EUS, Fecal Transplant, Video Capsule Endoscopy, Manometry, Sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, and Bravo.

Average Inpatient Census: 7-10 per day

Compensation: Base salary is $600k - $650,000 with potential for compensation and benefits enhancements.
