Gastroenterology Hospitalist opening: Williamsport, PA Located 100 miles to Scranton, PA

About the Job

1. Full-time, permanent position
2. Hospital employed
3. Join a dynamic group of physicians and APPs committed to providing the latest techniques and advanced procedures for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
4. 7 days on / 7 days off block schedule
5. Dedicated PA/NP support, available to round on inpatients and assist hospitalists/nursing staff
6. Inpatient consults and procedures, with minimal outpatient procedures
7. Dedicated procedure room available daily
8. Average inpatient census: 3 to 6 new consults, totaling 8 to 20 patients
9. All procedures supported by CRNA and anesthesiologist oversight
10. After-hours calls managed by answering service (prep issues, refills, etc.)
11. Collegial and supportive hospitalist service
12. Support from Interventional Radiology, Acute Care Surgery, Vascular Surgery
13. Radiology services available on campus: US, CT, MRI/MRCP
14. Therapeutic endoscopist on staff (EUS/ERCP/luminal stenting, etc.)
