Job description

This opportunity involves outpatient work in the GI Lab primarily focused on performing screenings. The expected patient encounters per shift range from 15 to 17.

Certification and Skills Requirements:

• Board Certification: Physicians must be board certified.
• Certifications Required:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Specialty Skills Required:

• Gastroenterology Procedures:
• Small Bowel Biopsy
• Lower GI Endoscopy
• Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible and Rigid)
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp

Facility Details:

• Trauma Level: 1
• Pediatric Level: 1

This role does not require procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, esophageal dilatation/manometry, or liver biopsy.

• Credentialing: Estimated timeframe for credentialing is available with temporary privileges.
