Qualifications

• Board Certified with an active WA License or IMLC.
• Fellowship preferred, with minimum availability of 2 weeks a month.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient coverage with a focus on gastroenterology.
• Perform various endoscopic procedures and manage patient care.

Coverage Needed

• ASAP - ongoing
• Cover 2 locations

Schedule

• Scheduled Clinic Hours
• Weekday coverage: 8a-5p
• No nights or weekends

Clinical Details

• Practice setting: outpatient, inpatient
• Patients per shift: 5
• Trauma level 2
• Gastro Hospitalist type role

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active WA License or IMLC
• Fellowship - Preferred
• ACLS, BLS
• Minimum availability: 2 weeks a month
• Required Skills: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser , ERCP (diagnostic), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Esophageal manometry interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy (flexible, rigid), Colonoscopy (with biopsy, excision of polyp)
