Job description

Professional Imaging is an established mobile medical practice serving Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Northeast Texas, Corpus Christi, and the Rio Grande Valley. We provide evaluations for patients with various swallowing disorders. We are seeking additional doctors for our growing practice.

MD Requirements & Paid Training:

• Physicians with diverse experience levels are encouraged to apply. We offer extensive training and compensation during the training period.
• Applicants must hold a valid Texas medical license.

The Ideal MD Career:

• Alongside a Speech Language Pathologist, you will travel in one of our state-of-the-art mobile clinics to the patient’s home or facility to perform comprehensive dysphagia assessments, including the Modified Barium Swallow Study and esophageal evaluation, culminating in a patient-centered MD consultation. • After the consultation, the driver will return the patient home or to the facility, while you complete your report. Then, you proceed to the next patient.
• This position features no on-call duties, overnight shifts, or weekend work, making it an ideal physician career.

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual income for working 4-5 days per week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume. Both full-time and part-time roles are available.
• This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
• Malpractice coverage (including tail coverage) is provided by the practice. With over 250,000 evaluations in 15 years, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Our practice handles approximately 500 patients monthly, supported by a team of 26 staff members, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, drivers, and support staff. We also have sister practices in the Midwest and Massachusetts.
