GI Partnership with Physician Owned Practice

Location: Metro Sacramento, 1 Hour to Napa

Join an established, well-respected multispecialty group of 150+ clinicians (roughly 100 physicians and 50 APPs/other professionals) that has been caring for its residents for over 100 years. The practice is physician-owned and operated. Incoming physicians will be a pre-shareholder for the first 2 years, then invited to become shareholders. The shareholder contract is evergreen. Each shareholder owns 1 share; everyone is equal.

About the Position

• Specialty: General Gastroenterology
• Strong physician retention; some members have been with the group for 20-30 years
• Supportive culture emphasizing work-life balance
• Schedule: Full-time (40% clinic / 60% OR procedures)
• Clinic: 20 scheduled patients per day, with a procedure room
• OR/ASC: 2-3 days per week
• Procedures: 100-120 per month, including EGD, PEG placement, colonoscopy, flex sig, with some ERCP volume
• Call: 7 days per month, with physicians taking one week at a time; weekday call starts at 8 am, 24 hours; typical weekend call involves 0-3 consults/procedures
• EMR: Cerner
• Languages: Additional skills in Spanish, Punjabi, Farsi, Mandarin are a plus
• Patient Population: Diverse, from agricultural workers to college professors
• Inpatient care managed by hospitalist program
