About this role :

As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. You will be an employed Medical Group Gastroenterologist within a large non-profit health system. There is a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care, and we have a team-based GI practice model with physicians, APP support, and nursing teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations. We support you in building your GI practice with a strong referral base.

1. This position offers a starting base salary of $600,000 annually, with production incentives, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance based on distance, student loan repayment, and a $1,500 monthly training stipend. Future ASC opportunities are also available.
2. You will practice at our Southridge Clinic in Riverton, Utah, supported by a network of primary care physicians within the Intermountain Medical Group.
3. You will have a mix of clinic work, with a focus on endoscopy and hospital services.
4. The anticipated call schedule is 1:4.

What you'll bring:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
• U.S. ACGME accredited residency training
• ABMS board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA
• ERCP experience is welcomed but not required
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process successfully
• Visa sponsorship candidates will be reviewed individually
