Qualifications

• Active VA License required.
• Experience with various endoscopic procedures including biopsy and polyp excision.
• Ability to manage and interpret esophageal manometry.

Responsibilities

• Consult with 3-4 patients per 24 hours.
• Perform various endoscopic procedures as required.
• Manage patient care and support staff.

• Looking for someone available every two weeks

Clinical Details

• 3-4 Phone Consultants on average per 24 hours
• 1-2 Patients seen on average per 24 hours

  • with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
  • With injection of varices
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry
• Esophageal manometry interpretation
• Small Bowel biopsy
• Lower GI endoscopy
• Sigmoidoscopy
