UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a BE/BC Advanced Endoscopy Trained Gastroenterologist to join its practice at UT Quitman (35 miles north of Tyler, TX) and UT Pittsburg, TX (55 miles north of Tyler, TX).

About the Facilities:
Both UT Health Pittsburg (constructed 2009) and UT Health Quitman (constructed 2013) are each 25-bed critical access hospitals offering 24-hour emergency services, designated as Level IV trauma centers and Level III Stroke Centers. They feature surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, sleep labs, and swing bed care. Both are Joint Commission Accredited. UT Health Pittsburg was recently named a "Top 123 Hospital of 2023" by The LeapFrog Group.
UT Health East Texas provides care to thousands annually through an extensive network including 10 hospitals, over 50 clinics, the Olympic Plaza Tower, 13 regional rehab facilities, two emergency centers, home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of over 50 ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive seven-trauma center network, including the region's only Level 1 trauma facility.
About UT Tyler School of Medicine:
The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in the UT System. Its mission is to train healthcare professionals to serve rural and underserved communities in East Texas.
The school offers 20 residency and fellowship programs, including family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia.
