Job description

Coverage Needed:

• July 1, 2025 - ongoing
• Schedule: 1 week on, 1 week off; 7am-7am
  • Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Patients Per Shift: Average of 9 consults per day
• Call: Beeper call with a response time of 20-30 minutes
• EMR: Epic
• Cover inpatient and ED gastroenterology consults and run the GI consult service in house
• In 2024, there were 3252 unique encounters with GI consult notes, 1576 inpatient scopes in 2024 (6.7% of total scopes needed ERCP. 2.2% of total scopes needed EUS)

Requirements:

• Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active California license required
• Procedures: ERCP required, EUS preferred
