Job Summary: Geisinger, a nationally recognized leader in innovation and quality care, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our team in Lewistown/State College, PA.

Job Duties:

1. The region's premier Gastroenterology Group, located in State College and Lewistown (Western Region), is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our stable team of 8 physicians and 5 APPs. This position is due to growth and demand. The practice includes high-level, high-volume procedures such as interventional endoscopy and hepatology, and is integrated with the larger health system.

At Geisinger, our Gastroenterologists:

• Provide care for patients across a fully integrated health system with a robust electronic health record (EPIC).
• Enjoy ample opportunities for professional growth, including teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as participation in clinical and endoscopic research as faculty of the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including embedded pharmacists, who assist in managing Hepatitis C and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
