Job Opportunity: Physician - Gastroenterology

This practice offers a comprehensive outpatient and inpatient environment, and is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist for a long-term locum opportunity with the potential for permanent placement. The facility is equipped with the latest Epic EMR system and offers a supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participate in scheduled clinical hours and be available for on-call duties (1:5 call ratio).
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Manage patient encounters effectively and efficiently.
• Respond to call responsibilities within a required time frame (20 minutes).

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology (or eligibility).
• Completion of a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license is preferred but not required for temporary privileges.
• Hospital privileges are required.
