Job Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology)

Join a well-respected medical facility that offers outpatient services, located in the heart of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This practice focuses on providing high-quality care in a state-of-the-art GI Lab, operating Monday through Friday with no calls required. Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform standard GI procedures including EGDs, colonoscopies, EGD with dilatations, and PEG placements/changes.
2. Preferably, conduct ERCP procedures.
3. Maintain a patient-focused approach while adhering to best practices and protocols.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
5. Document all patient encounters accurately using the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Subspecialty of Gastroenterology.
• Current active Pennsylvania medical license.
• Experience with all general GI procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania medical license required.
• Board certification in gastroenterology preferred.
• Fellowship in gastroenterology is mandatory.
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available.
