Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist for an employed position with a busy practice. Inpatient focus with a team of physicians and APPs, call 2 nights weekly, and access to a broad health system network within Ascension.

License in Indiana is required prior to hire; ACLS preferred. The role offers a sign-on bonus, CME allowances, and tail malpractice coverage within a nonprofit Catholic health system.

Your future role at a glance

• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
• Facility Name: Ascension St. Vincent Hospital
• Schedule: Twenty for (24) weeks annually with a schedule of Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Each week of service will include two nights of call.

• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area
• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills
• Eligible for Indiana state medical license and DEA registration
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
