Summary :
As a Gastroenterology Physician at GI of Alton, I provide specialized care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, conducting various GI procedures. My work involves performing critical diagnostics and therapeutic interventions, managing patient follow-ups, and utilizing the EPIC documentation system. This position requires a commitment to timely call coverage and collaboration within a small team of physicians during a maternity leave coverage.
GI of Alton, outpatient office with GI labs located at Alton Memorial Hospital on the same campus.
Maternity Leave for one of our providers.
Call ratio is managed on a weekly basis, not by call ratio.
Average number of patients per day : 12-14
There are 3 physicians in the group; one is leaving on maternity leave on March 16, and another is retiring at the end of April.
EPIC
Upper GI Endoscopy including Biopsy with Foreign Body Removal, ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, and Therapeutic procedures.
Locum will need to follow up with patients for pathology needs and results.
