Join Our Gastroenterology Team in Greensboro, North Carolina

We are recruiting a recently trained or fellowship-completing gastroenterologist to join our esteemed group of 6 gastroenterologists in Greensboro, NC.

About Our Practice:

• Largest physician-owned group in the area with a broad primary care referral base, focusing on consultative and procedural gastroenterology.
• Strong referral relationships within a collegial medical community, ensuring professional stability and profitability.

Facilities and Equipment:

• Outpatient procedures primarily at the accredited Endoscopy Center, featuring 4 state-of-the-art procedure rooms and an excellent support staff, located in the same building as the gastroenterology office.
• Top-of-the-line equipment including ERBE coagulators and Olympus 190-series scopes to provide optimal patient care.
• Inpatient consults and procedures are conducted at Moses Cone Hospital (500 beds) and Wesley Long Hospital (150 beds), both conveniently located nearby.

Hospital and Community:

• Moses Cone Health System operates both hospitals; it is a community-based, non-profit organization affiliated with UNC School of Medicine for residency programs in Internal Medicine and Family Practice.

Candidate Profile and Expectations:

• The ideal candidate will be personable; advanced endoscopic skills are not required for this general GI position.
• Must have excellent communication skills, teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a service-oriented approach towards patients and colleagues.
• Work schedule includes 30% clinic and 70% endoscopy center, with dedicated administrative time weekly.

Additional Details:

• Flu vaccine required unless an exemption is approved.
• Competitive initial salary with productivity bonus during the non-shareholder period.
• Office shareholder option available after one fiscal year; Board Certification required.
• Three-year partnership track in the Endoscopy Center at no cost.
• Shareholder income is predominantly productivity-based. GI call rotation is 1 in 7.
